Answers to common questions

Yes. All the tools are free, and you do not need an account. Open a tool, enter your data and get the result.

It depends on the tool. The password generator and the WebP converter work in your browser: the passwords and the images are not uploaded. Checkers such as the website hosting checker and the domain history checker have to ask other servers, so the domain or the IP address that you enter is processed on our server. Enter only public domains and addresses there, never passwords or private data.

Yes. The password generator creates passwords in your browser with the secure random numbers of the browser, so a password is never sent to a server. It makes a random password, a password in the style of Chrome and one that is easy to type on a phone. For an account that matters use 16 characters or more and keep the password in a password manager.

Open the WebP converter, drop your images into the box (or paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V), choose lossy for photos, lossless for graphics and screenshots, or near-lossless, and download each file or all of them as a ZIP archive. The conversion runs in your browser with the official libwebp encoder, so the images are not uploaded. According to Google, lossy WebP files are 25-34% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality.

Enter the domain in the website hosting checker. It shows the IP address, the network (ASN), the hosting company, the country and the city of the server. If the site works through a CDN such as Cloudflare, you see the CDN and not the server behind it.

Enter the domain in the domain history checker. It shows the registration date, the age, the registrar and the status of the domain from RDAP, the history of the site in the Wayback Machine and the signs that the domain expired and was registered again, for example archive captures older than the current registration.

Use the US ping test to see the status code and the response time from a server in the United States, or the HTTP status code and redirect checker to see the whole chain of redirects. A site can be open from one country and closed from another, so one failed check does not always mean that it is down for everybody.
